KRISHNA BAHADUR KUMAL
Mr. Krishna Bahadur Kumal is a Hydropower Engineer. He has a MSc. degree in Water Science and Engineering from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, Netherlands and a Bachelor degree in Law (LL.B.) from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Currently, he serves as a Technical Coordinator at Bizbell.
He has over a decade of experience in hydropower sector which spans from Hydropower Development, Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) practices to Contract Law and Arbitration. His work focuses on engineering hydrology, hydraulic design, project optimization and scheduling, and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies. He has in-depth knowledge on renewable energy policies and regulations, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) laws.
His job responsibilities include management of hydropower projects with combined total installed capacity over 300 MW. These includes Run-of-River (RoR) as well as Peaking RoR (PRoR) projects ranging in elevation from 1800 to 3000 m above sea level.
He is fluent in Nepali, English and Hindi.
