FINANCE OFFICER

With a degree in Economics by Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Helena's career began in the finance department of several multinational companies, where she developed her leadership skills in financial, treasury, accounting and management control processes.

In 2011, Helena decided a change of pace was in order, and started her own business in tourism, managing short term rental apartments and a Guesthouse in Lisbon. That experience allowed her to grow professionally by running all operational aspects of the business, and provided some memorable conversations with guests from all over the world!

Having studied and / or worked in Portugal, Belgium, Spain and more recently in Angola, Helena speaks fluently Portuguese, English and Spanish, and can manage a light conversation in French. She enjoys trekking, taking courses in finance and data analytics and slow Sunday mornings.
