MILES SCOTT-BROWN
Miles is an independent environmental practitioner, professional biologist and impact assessment specialist with over 35 years’ experience in the environmental assessment, auditing and management of infrastructure projects around the globe. Miles has excellent problem-solving skills and specialises in developing sustainable strategies and solutions for the global infrastructure challenge. His focus is on environmental and social compliance of energy projects including renewables such as hydropower, geothermal, wind and solar, oil and gas development and pipelines, electrical transmission lines, refineries, ports, roads and railways. He is fluent in Spanish and has extensive experience in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Miles is very familiar with World Bank Group and other Lender standards and has worked on both sides of the project spectrum - developing ESIAs and approval strategies for clients while assessing and monitoring project compliance with environmental and social safeguards. Miles is a Certified Environmental Auditor with Eco-Canada.
