DENY Tjahja Ramadhani


 
 

Deny Ramadhani is a consultant and the owner of PT. Suropati Hidro Energi, based in Bandung, Indonesia. His main interest is contributing to sustainable infrastructure development. Over the last 20 years, Deny has provided consultancy services to government agencies, multilateral development banks, the private sector, and NGOs. He has worked on policy frameworks at the Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS) of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as providing technical guidance to the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing and the Ministry of Transportation. Deny has conducted numerous project feasibility assessments and appraisals, including assessments and preparation for MDB projects.

Deny holds four certifications: Prime Expert in Dam Engineering, Medium Expert in Water Resources Management, Medium Expert in Construction Management, and Lead Auditor Expert for ISO 14001.

From 2011 to 2022, Deny served as an individual consultant at the Directorate of Water Resources Bappenas, where he monitored, evaluated, and accelerated the development of dam and hydropower projects, as well as water resources sector policies. He worked with the Government of Indonesia to conduct hydropower sustainability assessments at the early stage for the Multi-Purpose Dams Project and at the operational stage for several dams under the Dam Operational Improvement and Safety Project (DOISP), financed by the World Bank and Asahan 3 Hydro Electric Power Plant owned by PT. PLN.

Currently, Deny works as a consultant for the World Bank in Indonesia, preparing projects in the water resources sector to be implemented from 2025 to 2029.
