CLIMATE CHANGE MITIGATION AND RESILIENCE
Principle
The project’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are consistent with low carbon power generation, the project is resilient to the effects of climate change, and contributes to wider adaptation to climate change.
Scope
The estimation and management of the project’s GHG emissions, analysis and management of the risks of climate change for the project, and the project’s role in climate change adaptation.
Certifying project performance
HS Standard performance requirements are based on the definitions of good and best international industry practice. There are two levels of performance requirements: minimum requirements to achieve certification (equivalent to good practice) and advanced requirements for additional recognition (equivalent to best practice).
The performance requirements are presented criteria-by-criteria for each project life cycle stage.
